1/4" BASE ROCK
Our 1/4-inch base rock is loaded with fines, this rock compacts neatly to form a solid foundation for any project. Layer concrete, asphalt, or other materials on top of our quarter-inch base to provide the perfect start to any large project that requires a stone base.
1/2" BASE ROCK
Our 1/2" base rock contains both rocks under a half-inch in diameter as well as fines to create a highly-compactable long-term foundation. It can be used on roadways, in building construction, slab fill, fence post, stalls, and paths.
3/4" BASE ROCK
Our 3/4" base is ideal for any project where environmental impact is of concern and will provide a lasting foundation for the road you’re constructing. Our 3/4-inch limestone is our most popular product and we can provide any quantity necessary.
1-1/2" BASE ROCK
Our 1-1/2-inch limestone base rock can be used in any project that requires a solid foundation. It contains both rocks under a half-inch in diameter as well as fines to create a highly-compactable long-term foundation.
3/4" SHOULDER BACKING
3/4-inch shoulder backing is a rough rock aggregate used on the outside edge of pavement to provide support and prevent edge cracking. Shoulder backing can also be used to minimize drop-off heights.

Our 1/4-inch crushed stone and chip sand contains no fines. It’s a clean rock and suitable for any construction project.
3/8" CHIP
Our 3/8-inch decorative limestone rock contains no fines. It’s a clean rock and suitable for any construction or landscape project.

1-1/2" DECO/LEACH
Our 1-1/2-inch crushed limestone rock contains no fines and is perfect for leaching, septic tanks, or any other drainage project. Great for decorative projects, too!

Our cobblestone is most commonly used in wall and roadway construction, as well as for decorative projects that require larger rocks.
6"x12" ENGINEER STONE
Our Engineer Stones are certified to be between six and 12 inches in diameter. These engineer stones meet the CalTrans Section 72, Method B, No. 1 specification.

Our 3 inch and smaller limestone is perfect for use as a base material for any construction project. Use it for driveway and roadway subgrade. Our 3-Inch and Smaller Limestone Rock meets the CalTrans Section 37 Specification.
8" MINUS
Our 8-inch (and smaller) rock can be used as fill material for projects that require large rocks for strength. This product has limestone rock from a general 8-inch diameter down to the fines needed for binding.
8" RECYCLE FILL
Our 8" rock and smaller contains imported/ recycled material for use as fill dirt. It contains fines as well as larger rock used for strength and binding. Contact for price.

Our fill sand meets PG&E specifications for backfill sand. It is used for digging trenches for electrical cable, putting in conduits, or laying gas pipe, fill sand from Mountain Gate Quarry will provide a solid earth foundation.
